xbox 360 news digest for 03-27-08

Behold, the first inaugural xbox 360 news digest, only at xenocidic.com. this feature will take all the juiciest news of the day and condense it into one easy to consume portion.

Ninja Gaiden II demo lands in May - hone your button mashing skills and prepare for some intense, rated M for Mature gore. [Via Xbox 360 Fanboy]

Rumours abound of possible BioShock MMO, movie - I'm not exactly sure how you fit a massive number of people into Rapture but if a BioShock MMO comes out, I might have to sell my Xbox 360 or risk losing another two years of life like with the last MMO I played... The BioShock movie rumour has also been given a new life with this news coming straight from Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two's chairman. [Via Xbox 360 Fanboy]

Grand Theft Auto IV to feature robust online stat tracking - following in the footsteps of Halo 3, GTA IV will feature an intricately detailed online stat tracking website known as the Rockstar Games Social Club. It promises to allow players to compare their action-driving skills with each other in a number of different categories. It will even feature a hall of fame and a 100% completion club (kind of like a 1000/1000 thread only way cooler). But get this - the first 10 players to reach 100% completion in GTA IV will receive an exclusive "key to the city" - I'm going to have to put employer on notice. You can register your gamertag starting April 15. [Via Xbox 360 Fanboy]

Penny Arcade XBLA game priced at 1600 Microsoft points - I don't know about you, but I'm a huge Penny Arcade fan. I've been looking forward to the launch of the Xbox Live Arcade game based on the comic strip for some time now. The title in itself is breathtaking - literally - Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness: Episode One. While 1600 MSP (approximately $20) does seem rather steep, in my opinion I won't only be paying for the game, but I'll be paying for all the laughs I've had reading the comic strip over the years. It's gotten me through many a long work day. [Via Xbox 360 Fanboy]

GTA IV Trailer IV - coming hot on the heels of the recently unveiled social club is the fourth and final trailer for what is shaping up to be the biggest video game launch of 2008. The trailer shows off the game's sprawling landscapes, amazing graphics, intense driving and movie-quality cinematics. But don't take my word for it, see for yourself!
